History

The early days of Human Communities was about developing an open source template specifically premodded for communities hoping to be able to offer a low energy set ups including hosting for "not for profits" emerging artists or projects

What was being observed was the need for artists and communities to take advantage of the new technologies, while at the same time not make it a burden or needing long hours of studying to understand.

After a couple of years it became apparent that there were far better solutions than the one conceived by HC and as a result HC as a project ceased further developing and shifted into advising and researching open source solutions.

As time went on the general Open Source community became very robust. The general upskilling of all internet users through Social Networking projects such as Facebook allowed for quite intelligent discussions and open source went mainstream. Which one should I use, "It depends!. Horses for Courses. Each community like each Open source has its strengths and weaknesses.

Today Human Communities is an open source approach to Community Building. Breaking the paradigms and processes today’s people live in as part of a mass consumer society.
